history of type...

The type history article was great, a nice short writing on typography. A new thing to me was in the classification, where they considered "sans serif" and "slab serif" as a classification, I had heard the term Contemporary as a classification before. So that was new to me. But over all was a nice refresh of type in history. ~me

  1. I now realize this sounds a little silly....I mean that calling sans serif and slab serifs their own categories as opposed to grouping them together, all the previous classifications semmed to be arranged historically, then theres sans and slab as categories...I think I like Contemporary better :) hope this makes sense.
