Phonotype Process 6

The final body of work.

Phonotype Process 5

Labels for the record cover and LP, and booklet cover designs. Colors too saturated too dark planes too solid need to break up the design and lighten up colors.

Heres a few of the specimen posters i worked on. The one with Phonotype on the bottom is the final poster sans a few small-ish adjustments. A more simplistic design aesthetic was what I was going for na in the end to tie in the pics from the spec-book i decided to use an image as the back ground which was a good decision in my opinion it tied things together made the poster more interesting visually.

My name in Phonotype. I'm not so sure about how well the typeface works as of yet? I don't intend that this type would be used for anything other than large sized titles or captions maybe.

Here the letters are Vector drawn. The headphone's are still recognizable within the letter forms, which is good I was slightly worried about whether that would work out or not. Color exploration is stlll to come, and maybe trying the type in words.

This was the next move after deciding to stray from the copper wire idea, the copper was too rigid and not as fluid as I would have liked. The Apple headphones was another of my ideas so I went ahead and scanned the letters and was quite pleased. Some letters took more fanagle-ing than others but I ended up with a nice group of characters.
